Hi there, I’m Alexandra and I’m a doer.

I work with brands like Google, Khan Academy and Adobe to bring big ideas to reality.

Here’s me, likely on my second cup of coffee, feeling the San Francisco energy!

I built my foundation in the agency world, partnering with companies like Adobe and Amazon on brand development, social campaigns, and experiences, leading and mentoring throughout. The whirlwind pace pushed me to constantly evolve, but after six years, I recognized a gap in my UI/UX knowledge and thus in the wholistic design that I could bring my clients. Because I’m a doer and seeing a gap that needed to be filled, I earned a professional certificate in UX Design and immersed myself in best practices as a Visual Designer at Google.

This journey culminated in my current role at Khan Academy, where I ignite my passion for the intersection of education and design. I’m constantly seeking opportunities to push my boundaries as a designer and further explore.

What’s something people don’t know about me?
Fresh out of college, I found myself caught between two passions: design and elementary education. I ditched the 'pick one' path mentality. Now, I blend design and education as a volunteer at the Exploratorium and designer at Khan Academy, proving you can have your cake and eat it too!

What do I do when I’m not designing?
I’m exploring the Bay Area on foot where I hop from coffee shop to bakery, reading and finding local gems along the way!
