AGORA

Branding
Client: US Air Force (Outcast Client)

Overview
AGORA bridges the gap for the US Air Force, providing access to 3D printing networks for on-demand parts and faster repairs, maximizing aircraft uptime.

Challenge
AGORA's brand identity needed to be a launchpad for excitement, drawing users in with its modern look while adhering to the US Air Force's established visual language.

Solution
We partnered with AGORA to develop a complete brand strategy and naming system, including a mission, position, and vision. We then created a visual identity that matched including a logo, color palette, typography, and guidelines for photography and graphic treatments.

We chose a bold typeface with geometric cuts and grooves as a nod to the advanced manufacturing process. The mark evokes an airplane's path into the air, highlighting the platform's mission. We used blur in photography to depict motion in a thoughtful and modern way, which allowed the vibrant brand green to pop similarly to color pops on an airfield.

Results
AGORA now has a technical and cutting-edge brand identity that effortlessly provides context while commanding attention. It's also fine-tuned to excite the diverse audience at the Department of Defense.

My Role
I ideated on concepts with a small team of designers. I then worked to establish guidelines for the brand elements, such as the logo, typeface, and photography and ultimately created resources for AGORA's team of designers to use.
