Overview
With the rise of collaborative workstyles, Cisco unveiled the Cisco Spark Board, an all-in-one product designed to streamline communication and teamwork. To bring this groundbreaking tool to life, we collaborated with Cisco to create a unique SXSW branded activation: Sparkhaus.
Challenge
Following a year of successfully defining the brand voice and identity of Cisco Spark, and driving its social media launch, we were presented with a unique challenge: showcase the innovative Cisco Spark Board at SXSW. This required showcasing not only the product itself, but also the collaborative spirit it fosters.
Solution
Through close collaboration with Cisco, we created Sparkhaus, a comprehensive branded experience at SXSW designed to showcase the power of the Cisco Spark Board. Sparkhaus offered a multifaceted journey that went beyond simply displaying product features; it ignited a spark of inspiration for collaborative possibilities.
The "Deliberate Design" tagline captured the essence of the Spark Board, highlighting its user-friendly nature and thoughtful engineering. This concept was further emphasized by a Scandinavian-inspired design, resonating with the SXSW audience's appreciation for both playfulness and meticulous attention to detail.
From the captivating exterior that drew attendees in, to the wayfinding, swag, and even lawn games, every element of the event space seamlessly extended the branding and fostered engagement. We crafted engaging workshops and demos dedicated to the board, showcasing its potential in various creative and practical scenarios. Attendees were actively involved, gaining firsthand experience with how the Spark Board could enhance their collaboration and productivity.
To solidify brand engagement, swag provided attendees with an additional touchpoint to interact with Cisco Spark and spread awareness beyond the event itself. By combining these elements, Sparkhaus effectively showcased the power of the Cisco Spark Board and ignited a spark of inspiration for collaborative possibilities within the SXSW audience.




Results
Sparkhaus was a resounding success. It significantly increased brand awareness for Cisco Spark, resonated with the festival crowd, and positioned the Spark Board as a powerful tool for fostering collaboration in the workplace.
